nmOptics promotes its members' products and services by hosting meetings, conferences, executive roundtables, and industry mixers.
nmOptics advocates for issues of interest to the New Mexico optics industry regarding tax policies, priorities in legislative initiatives and funding, R&D policies and programs, economic development incentives, patent reform, workforce development, and education at the national, state, and local levels.
nmOptics also has many out of state members and supports many regional and national optics initiatives.
nmOptics works with the schools to promote optics/photonics in the science curriculum.
nmOptics is active in workforce development initiatives and issues.
nmOptics keeps you up to date on national, state and local news that may impact the optics/photonics industry.
